Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Casing Design on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

What does PC mean is it (Collapse pressure)? What does T mean is it tension? What does BT mean it is Burst tension and I think the last one is Pressure.

About this app

The "Casing Design" app is used to perform detailed casing design for oil and gas wells based on the depth of casing string, mud weight, casing type, and tubing diameter.

The casing is designed for collapse pressure and tension while choosing the cheapest set of casing that can withstand design forces.

Up to 2 casing grades are chosen and up to 4 casing types are chosen for a casing string design.

The app selects the diameter of the casing string from the tubing size selected and casing type. The casing types are production, intermediate, surface, and conductor.

The results show the casing grade, weight per foot, the length of each casing type, and the top and bottom of each casing type.

There is also a sour gas option that designs casing excluding casing types that are not corrosion resistant.

To use the app, select Casing Design from the main menu. Select the casing type and well tubing size. Put the depth of the casing in the first blank at the bottom of the screen and put the mud density in the second blank at the bottom of the screen. Click next to view the casing grades, casing weights, and the lengths for each casing type.
