About this app

Control your WiFi. WiFiWatch gives you more ways to manage your WiFi connection by controlling when or where your device is able to use its wireless connection saving battery and increasing security.

Currently there are four options:

1) Block All WiFi.
This will turn off the WiFi every time an attempt is made to turn it on by other apps or the system.

2) Only Configured Connections
WiFi will be allowed if a known network was found in the last scan, otherwise WiFi will be turned off to save battery. Will also turn off WiFi after having moved out of range.

3) Geofence Locations
3D locations can be setup using device's GPS. WiFi can be turned on inside these virtual fences. Another option is available to turn on WiFi when entering these locations. GPS will use more power than the other options, so it mainly designed for use while using other GPS applications. The location data received by this application will not be used elsewhere.

4) WiFi Timer
A timer can be set for a specific date and time during which WiFi will be allowed. After the time has passed, WiFi will be blocked.

New features

WiFiWatch now allows you to manage when and where your WiFi is allowed to connect.
There are four options:
1) Block all WiFi connection attempts.
2) Set a timer during which WiFi can be turned off and after which WiFi will be blocked.
3) Immediately Turn WiFi off if scan reveals no known networks.
4) Use a GPS Geofence to allow WiFi in specified locations.
