This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Badget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Badget is a professional, electronic badge that helps you get noticed. Whether it's outside your company walls at a trade show or networking event or inside your company at an all-hands meeting or an orientation, your electronic (LED) badge will get you noticed. It not only serves as an instant ice-breaker but more importantly allows you to convey a message (e.g., your name, a tagline, specific information about you, etc.) in a way that will allow the person(s) you're engaging with to specifically remember you and that message.

Badget's mobile application allows you to set any message or series of messages within seconds directly from your phone and this can all be done wirelessly! This message can be your name, company name, a tagline, whatever you want! You can get as creative as you want. Also, you can control how the message is displayed, such as 1) scrolling options (left to right, right to left, etc.), 2) speed at which it scrolls (fast, slow, etc.), 3) flashing (e.g., animation like blinking), and 4) adding borders (a border around your message). You can also display up to 8 messages serially so you can include multiple messages all on one badge.
