Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LD Safety on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

LD Safety is a comprehensive safety platform in conjunction with RTRS. A great tool to help ensure a SAFE workplace and provide a quantitative, intuitive tool for all employees. Safe practices can be created, updated, and shared throughout the app.

Form templates include JSA, Daily Report, Observations, Tool and Equipment Inspections, Accident Investigation, and incident reports.

Each safety issue can be assigned to multiple internal and external vendors and contractors through the mobile app with push and banner notifications sent to each device. Each worker provides notes and photos of the issue for real-time collaboration to quickly close issues. Each observation can also be signed in the field for accountability.

Each form can be converted into a QR code so any person (contractor, vendor) etc can fill out forms without the need for user access. All external information is tracked for each client and all external partners receive an email with copies for their records.
