la única razón por la cual tenía esta aplicación es por qué es mas fácil reportar un incendio, pedir una ambulancia o alguna emergencia por aquí pero quitaron todo eso, así de que sirve?

Centinela Ciudadano es una herramienta útil y muy sencilla creada para ser usada en el estado de Morelos que le permite al usuario realizar reportes 100% ANÓNIMOS y en tiempo real sobre incidentes que requieran apoyo directo de instituciones de seguridad pública. Promueve que las autoridades correspondientes puedan actuar de forma inmediata.

Esta aplicación cuenta con diferentes tipos de reportes, todos anónimos, para que el ciudadano escoja el tipo de delito y se puedan generar estadísticas para las autoridades. Adicionalmente está diseñada para que los ciudadanos puedan llamar al número de emergencia del Centro de Control y denunciar cualquier tipo de delito o situación sospechosa a través del teléfono celular inteligente, como por ejemplo, emergencias médicas, de fuego, policíacas, delitos en flagrancia, entre otros.

El reporte del ciudadano incluye la geo-referencia de la posición, la posibilidad de enviar texto o una imagen del reporte, así como realizar una llamada directa a las líneas de emergencia. Estos datos son transmitidos automáticamente y en tiempo real a un software basado en Web, al cual el Centro de Control puede tener acceso seguro, monitorear la actividad y tomar decisiones de cómo actuar.

Atención: El uso continuo del funcionamiento del GPS en el fondo puede reducir dramáticamente la vida de la batería. La aplicación utiliza el GPS en el trasfondo para mantener al dispositivo ubicado en momento de emergencia aún cuando la aplicación se minimice.
