Used to be pretty reliable and easy to use, but has been getting steadily worse in recent months. The new home page doesn't control paired lights (meaning you have to go into the light's options rather than simply using the power icons on the home screen) and often has the wrong state even after refreshing. Google Home integration is little better, and now only recognises one of my lights.

The app used to be really good, I'm very disappointed with recent changes. Previously you could see at a glance which lights where on or off and change them from the front screen. Now they've ruined it by taking that away and making you dig down two levels then click on individual devices before you can see the status. I have 7 devices but won't be buying any more, not calex devices anyway.

A recent update added darkmode which is nice but app still has many annoying pop-ups which slow things down, when i run a scene I don't need the success popup to show, its annoying and wastes time because you have to click okay to make it go away. Also the wifi signal weak message is also annoying and slows down using the app, im not going to move my box or my lightbulb i dont need to be told every time that the signal is slightly weak for that room. Edit- Nice to hear about ongoing improvements

Terrible. The light keeps disconnecting from the app. And then it just keeps flashing. The home screen has completely changed and you can't just click on the light you need to click so many things just to turn the light on A complete joke of a company.

too much going on, it was fine but updates has slowed the app down and stopped me being able to manage lights individually that are in a collective grouping. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke don't try and fix it. If possible please make a strupped back light version of your app so I can use the lights in my home. Thanks.

Frustrating. Doesn't remember WiFi passwords so, frequent, failure to connect a device means re-entering complex passwords. App fails to recognise dual band WiFi frequency so constantly tells you to reconnect to 2.4Hz despite the router broadcasting 2.4Hz. Doesn't "Work with Google" either. Don't bother, but Hive instead.
