The Best App. But you need to learn to Read the instructions. If you don't have patience to read instructions then you can't just do it. I am using on all phones and different folders on PC. Just hit Run and you are done. Salute to the app designer

Use to love this App but no update in years. Now with Windows 10 and SMBv1 support it's kind of a pain now. Have to enable it on the system you sync to. Have enabled it three times now and Win10 no longer supports it. I will update my review when they update and fix this issue. Email reply from the developer said he plans on updating it. No time frame given.

The App work nicely. But I can't figure out on how to set it automatically sync to PC without schedule (like Resilio Sync) and without manually tap RUN. After Windows update, it doesn't work anymore. After add computer and click OK, it always show "connection reset"

Hi this is truly a great app, using it for years already. However since the last release of samba-4.11 they disabled the SMB1 protocol by default, causing this app to fail to connect, any chance this app could be upgraded to SMB3? Thanks

Works as described. If you are unable to perform the "Add computer" step, take the following steps (source: tiny.cc/syncme): 1) Go to the start menu, and search for "Windows features". You should find "Turn Windows features on or off". Go there. 2) Under SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support, make sure the Server option is checked. 3) Reboot. Would have given a higher rating had the app used SMB2 or SMB3. Enabling SMB1 makes your system vulnerable to WannaCry-like attacks.

About this app

Copy, move, sync and backup your mp3, pictures and documents over WiFi, USB tethering, cellular VPN or wired network to your computer or NAS device. Nothing to be installed on your computer. Sync automatically even before you enter your home with 'If connected to WiFi router'.

SHARING MUST BE ENABLED ON YOUR COMPUTER, the simplest way to do this on Windows is to right click the folder you wish to synchronize select Share With and go with the instructions. Restart of the PC sometimes is needed when sharing for the very first time.

Features:

Two and one-way sync.
Sync deletions.
Schedule sync by combination of interval, exact time of the day, weekday, when device connects to a specific WiFi router and when power charging.
Include/exclude filter for hidden, read protected, individual files/folders, file name pattern, file type (extension), file date.
VPN and Portable WiFi Hot Spot over cellular connections.
Wake up PC (WOL) either manually or on a scheduled sync.
Organize pictures by date and/or address.
Organize mp3 music by artist and/or album and rename to the original song name.
Cut, copy, paste, preview remote and local files.

Uses Windows shares, Samba on Linux and older Macs, CIFS (SMB) protocol.

Hidden sneaky costs: There are four premium (paid) features in this app: 1) Schedule with router 2) Weekly schedule 3) Include/Exclude directories and files, new extensions and regular expressions 4) Wake up PC before sync. One time donation covers them all and any upcoming premium feature.

Known issues:
1) Insufficient resources error on Windows:
Check file path on Windows, paths are limited to 260 character after long files names were replaced with their short names.
Also looks like Windows sometimes is not fast enough to reclaim resources. Changing registry seems to help: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters\Size" 3

New features

Android 9 support.
New Location permission required by Android 8.1 and up WiFi Manager (Why Google, why?)
Bug fixes.
