This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BURGprotect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. The system, including the app is not reliable, the base station switches offline without notice :-( basically leaving the house unattended, if you are remote on holiday, that's scary, resetting requires a whole new setup off all sensors and devices, even if you previously created a profile, the app tells me 4 people connected, but doesn't show me who they are, even more scarry.. difficult to understand this app, which is made for easy use.... please seriously rework this app and system!

Brilliant product. It has saved me so much money and really easy to install and use. I'm also excited to here there will be more devices soon. I believe up to 200 so sky is the limit. I can't recommend Burg Protect enough. Love it.

Great app. The burg alarm is somthing that is used on a daly basis in my house. Great to feel secure in my house with no monthly subscription fee!
