At this point I would not recommend anyone with an Android install it to their phone. I cannot up load information to the database. The app tells me that the system has stopped. I would like to uninstall the app and reinstall but my phone is not showing a menu for that

Loads fine with Samsung. Should save tons of time identifying the good and bad in the country.

About this app

Using the Texas Invasives app, you can submit invasive species observations directly into the Texasinvasives.org statewide database with your mobile device. The observations are then validated by University of Texas at Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center staff members. The data is also shared with the University of Georgia’s Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health’s Early Detection and Distribution Mapping System, known as EDDMapS, to provide a more accurate picture of invasive species distribution on a national scale.
Reporting sightings of invasive species provides much needed baseline and early detection data that supports rapid response to first detections, control and management, and restoration efforts by federal, state and municipal resource managers. The goal of the Texas Invasives app is to streamline and simplify invasive species reporting for users.
