Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EDDMapS Ontario on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

well this is a nice idea but like many of the other gov programs its poorly done , no maps where the invasive species are , so you can not hunt them, reporting issuees and lacking library with no info on say anything so great chance if misstaking say idk a bowfin for snake head or one carp for the asian carp

App fails to work properly once downloaded. Tried suggested fixes. Nothing works.

Trying to upload and it won't let me. How in the hell are u suppose to report invasive species when your app won't let me. I will uninstall and go with another app

EDDMapS Ontario brings the power of EDDMapS to your Android phone. Now you can submit invasive species observations directly with your Android phone from the field. These reports are uploaded to EDDMapS and e-mailed directly to local and state verifiers for review. EDDMapS Ontario was developed by the University of Georgia Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health.
