Extremely invasive app! Don't waste your money on the BT-1 controller and don't bother with this app as it works with Android 7.1 but not with Android 10 and there is no chance of an update......... also extremely concerning is that parts of the app is written in chinese and also requires access to your your photos, files as well as your precise geo location.......

The idea of monitoring your solar setup from your smartphone is great. Some constructive feedback to the developers for a future update. I understand the power conservation of manually connecting each time the app opens. What I think would be helpful; - When app is on screen, a "connect" button on home screen to connect to last device, which stays live as long as app is open/in range. - When alarm triggered, send to smartphone as a push message. - Spelling mistakes corrected on Settings page.

does not automatically reconnect, readings stay on screen, even though you are disconnected from unit, you have no way of knowing if the readings are current or not, no refresh, must search for adapter each time you want current stats, logging is hit or miss, mostly miss, the 50 ft range is more like 10>15 feet, app needs more work to be usable. Just Never know if the readings are up-to-date without reconnect

When first connecting its awesome, has all the info I want in one place. I mostly use it for turning the load on and off, easiest wire setup. Like others have said, connection and live stream data is an issue. Fine if you want a quick snapshot but if you want to use it for aligning your panel or see current load draw its a pain reconnecting each time. Please build in always connected or refresh button and a time stamp since last update.

Terrible. Unable to connect via BT, unless you follow a particular procedure including many steps (disconnecting connecting cables on the charge controller). I will definitely send this back if I don't receive a meaningful workaround or a timeline on an app update.

While a little rough around the edges, this is a very useful app for renogy controllers. Having all the status information on one screen is very nice. Bumped this app to 5 stars as I have gotten used to how it works. This is a must have for anyone with a BT Renogy charge controller. The info all on one screen is much nicer than the units tiny display and the need to cycle through the screens. The app keeps daily records of charge, consumption, amps watts and volts is very nice to glance at.
