Simple is beautiful, esp. when it's a traffic monitor. Another basic simple but power full effect onto this well executed master, is the ability to inspect the elements as to which these apps are using the gateway. For instance- The app has to have specific permissions to run. Which of these permissions are they using when sending data? Or what exactly are they sending? I think the trick here is to find the apps that send usage data red handed for the user to feel comfortable. I know I would be interested.

Only beef is that floating notifications can only be put in any of the corners , and not at will on the page ...but minor , cuz the rest of it is simple and easy to use .
