Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TCP Communicator PRO on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

This is a Business app, studies for Business needs.

This app enables you to connect your smartphone/tablet to any device which provides an ASCII communication protocol.

You can send secific commands to the device and read the response in real time, with a user friendly graph where you can see the values, choosing what to display and some statistics to check communication strength.

You can also reply the read data to a specific IP address or to a .NET Web Service!

Available communication protocols:
- TCP: Tx/Rx mode or only Rx
- UDP: available soon

Available command terminators:
- CR+LF
- CR
- LF
- ETX
- EOT

This app is studied to run on 10 inches tablet (firsts screenshots), or any other device with a screen of 3 inches at least.

The DEMO version has theese limitations:
- Connection time with the device of 1 minute max.
- Only one device can be configured
- The "Reply to IP" and "Reply to Web Service" features are disabled.

- Fixed issues accessing application's database file on devices with android 2.1 or lower, sorry for other devices, who will need lose their data, but i had to move the database into internal storage.
