This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Dr.OnOff on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

1) Setup Raspberry Pi and PiFace Digital 2 (raspi-config -> enable SPI)
2) Install these python libs:
sudo apt-get install python{,3}-pifacedigitalio
sudo apt-get install python{,3}-pifacecommon
3) Download this python script: http://www.bsc101.eu/dronoff/dronoff3.py
4) Run the script dronoff3.py on the Raspberry: python3 dronoff3.py
5) Add a device in the app, use the IP of your Raspberry and port 50290 (you can change the port in the script), set Board to Raspberry Pi + PiFace Digital 2
