This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Password Factory on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

The application generates semi-pronounceable passwords. It may not be quite as secure as fully random passwords, but hopefully a password can be remembered without having to write it down. It generates multiple passwords at a time, and you can choose the one that is most memorable to you.

Remember, just because a password is generated somewhat randomly, does not mean that it is a good password. If a generated password is a real word spelled correctly, it is not a strong password no matter how it was generated. Use some judgment, and feel free to make further changes to the password to make it even more memorable and more powerful.

New features

Just added in version 0.7, in addition to using preference sliders to select the number of passwords, number of characters in passwords, and probability of a given character being a number; it now also supports the probability of using special characters. Furthermore, it allows you to select which special characters are allowed to be randomly selected.
