This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Screen ON on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Absolutely the best tried some other apps, this is the only one to manage to simply force the screen to stay on for whatever reason you may need... I use it for on line music players or to keep pic on for a while.

I've used this app for years, perfect app. Now, doesn't work on Samsung S10+ and Android 10. Other apps mention they don't work for Samsung/A10 combination, so not this app's fault... but I'm still bummed! Great app.

Installed on Huawei mate 20 Pro, was notified that it may not work, I needed to keep screen on as I needed the head tracking software on my phone to stay on, as long as this app is in the foreground(make it dim to save battery) it will keep the screen on.

Verizon samsung galaxy s10e kept turning off during phone calls, and i use my phone for work, going on and off mute frequently. when my android/verizon software upgraded, it no longer works and no other screen-on apps work. and verizon tech support is overloaded so they'll probably finger point anyway. bummer, this app worked like a charm

APP NOT UPDATED SINCE 2015. No ability to change settings w/o paying. But if you have an old device, and your needs are simple, it works as promised. I turned my Samsung phone (running KitKat) into a wall calendar at my workstation. I keep the phone plugged in, and to avoid screen burn-in, I have a live wallpaper running behind the calendar app's widget. A profile app (eg Tasker) could be used to automate hrs on/off. I'm satisfied, but your mileage may vary.

About this app

Screen on allows you to keep the screen ON with five options to adjust the brightness preventing the screen to lock and to keep the screen awake . You can set your screen timeout with these five options:

1) Keep the current brightness (Don't dim)
2) Allow to Dim
Allows the screen to dim but will not allow it to lock.
3) Increase brightness to MAX
4) Decrease brightness to MIN
5) Set the custom brightness

These useful options can be used to dim the screen or keep screen with your desired screen brightness. Allowing it to dim would enable you to reduce the screen backlight but restore to full with a simple touch.

Supports Landscape mode and Android 5.0 (Lollipop)

New Features:

1. Stop from Notification bar:
You can stop by clicking the "Stop" button in the notification, no more opening the app.

2. Always show Notification:
This option will always show the notification and allows you to START and STOP without opening the app. It currently picks up the last used option or the first option.

3. Start on Boot:
Selecting this option will automatically launch this app and apply the affect without even starting the app.

4. Start on USB:
This option will auto launch the selected option and disable immediately after disconnecting the device from USB. This is very helpful, especially for the developers.
