Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Breakdown Hero Technician on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Breakdown Hero Technician is the recovery and roadside app to get alerts of nearby jobs and help customers in a breakdown situation.

Technicians (Heroes) can accept or reject jobs, see job and location details, and navigate to the customer, once a job is accepted. Additional services,such as parts or fuel, can be added on-scene with the app.

Heroes can also refer jobs they receive directly, but can't do, back into the Hero Network. This ensures they can look after their own customers and earn a referral fee.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Keeping your phone charged while in your vehicle helps prevent battery drain.
