Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MomBlocker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This app is awesome. It keeps me from pocket calling or accidentally sending texts to the wrong people and prohibits me from entering a world of explaining myself and feeling like a jerk. Maybe I am a jerk, but this app is well worth the couple bucks. Easy to use and no setup required. 2 thumbs up!!!

About this app

MomBlocker is a texting app that interfaces with your regular phone number, then syncs with your contacts so that when you send a text to someone in your contacts a prompt will appear asking if you are sure you mean to send the text. And so as not to be a nuisance, by default it won’t ask again for that contact for 30 minutes.
