It has solved all the genuine countdown problems I've presented it with. But in real countdown it's not necessary to use all the available sub-numbers. Also, try target 207 sub-numbers 207, 207, 207, 207, 207, 208. The sum produced is not correct - rounding errors? I enjoyed your program though and I'm glad you wrote it :-)
