This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Crystal Visualizer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Crystal Visualizer uses the JSmol library to display .CIF files for viewing crystal structures.

Crystal Visualizer is an open-source app, with it's source-code available on GitHub.

The app comes with a lot of pre-loaded crystal structures in the form of CIF files.
