This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Screen On Alerter on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

Sometimes the screens on our devices turn on and we don't want them to. Perhaps we are running and listening to music. Perhaps the device is in a bag or a pocket. If the screen turns on, then the battery will drain more quickly and strange things may happen with unattended swipes. This is a simple application that will warn you when the screen on your device turns on, so you can go and turn the screen back off.

The reason why I created this application is that my device has a sensitive screen. While I am running, sometimes the screen comes on without me knowing and swipes occur causing problems; e.g. stops music, makes a phone call. This forces me to stop and to fix my device before moving on. This is annoying problem with my device which forced me to build this app. This application will let me know that the screen is on, so I can turn it back off quickly before weird stuff happens.
