Regarding avoid distractions you got it wrong. You are supposed to surrender your phone before entering work. Forget about troubleshooting your saw. Your device is contraband. If you disagree, maybe I can ask my boss to force you to agree? He hates smartphone technology and wants my device to be compromised.

Can't register the saw online. Cannot lock the saw out for safety. Customer service is giving us the run around.

About this app

"Get more out of your Bosch GTS1041-A REAXX Jobsite Table Saw with Active Response Technology using the convenience of the free REAXX app, which gives you access to online resources, including the operator’s manual, among other functions. This app isn’t required to operate your REAXX saw, but it’s a great way to enhance user experience by making saw operation more intuitive and by making it easier to get information about the tool.

It helps you troubleshoot issues, too. When the red light illuminates on the onboard control panel, the saw is not ready for use and will not function until the user corrects an issue. Reference the operator’s manual or the app troubleshooting section to easily identify the issue to correct. When the blue light illuminates on the control panel, the saw could require service. Learn more about these signals and others with the app.
With NFC enabled phones, the app lets you track the number of activations on your saw, provides trouble shooting assistance and indicates when service is needed. In addition, you can limit the use of the saw and restrict use of the bypass mode to authorized users.
The app also allows you to communicate your experience with the saw directly to Bosch, helps you find service locations and provides tech support contact information through the customer service link.
The app also gives you access to instructional content and product demonstrations.
Always avoid distractions when operating power tools. Be sure to put your phone in airplane mode when using the saw – and don’t use your phone while operating the saw to keep your hands free from distractions."
