Firstly, I am glad this app exists as I have been looking for a way to do timelapses on my M50. The app works well when you have it open during the timelapse, however, after about a minute of my phone locking the camera stops taking pictures and the app seems to lose control, when you unlock the phone and open the app it resumes. I'm not sure if it is a bug with the app or an issue my phone settings. I will dim the screen, stay on the app and keep my phone from going to sleep to get around this.

Just new to using this, so far it's working out nice. I just wanted to know if it was possible to not have the shot (action) button held down all the time. This would help with tracking autofocus , which is a neat feature to have with the intervalometer. Thank you for creating this app.

April 25: downloaded the most recent version. Still some quirks but does the job. In bulb mode, actual exposure time is time setting minus 1.1 seconds (i.e. if time is set to 7 seconds exposure will be 5.9 seconds). It would be nice if the exposure time matched the time setting (with delay between pictures taken care off behind the scenes by the app). Alternatively, delay time between shots could be user defined.

It works great! Simple and easy to use. Just keep your camera in SINGLE SHOT MODE (not continuous) and works like a charm.

After 2-3 minutes it stops. Checked on m50 and by using two different devices (Samsung and xiaomi) running android 10.

It only takes photo in alternate. Like after taking one shot, camera doesn't start taking the next one immediately. It waits for the timer to finish then begin shooting in next timer. For example, if I want to take 5 shots, camera will start shooting on 1st shot then sit idle for 2nd one then start shooting again when 3rd timer begin and sit idle for 4th one And then start shooting again on 5th one. So I only get 3 shots instead of 5. I was trying this app in bulb shutter mode

The Intervalometer for Canon app allows you to shoot long-exposure time-lapse recordings by connecting to your camera via Bluetooth and triggering it at set intervals.

Longer Battery Time:
Bluetooth (BLE = Bluetooth Low Energy) requires up to 90% less energy than Wifi, hence your battery will last longer.

BULB mode
Set the exposure time on your camera or switch to BULB mode and control the exposure time directly from the app without any time limit.

Unlimited Number of Photos and Automatic Stop
Choose between infinite triggering or an automatic stop after a set number of photos.

Video Mode
The intervalometer also works in video mode and can be used to restart recordings. This might be useful for cameras that have a 30 minute video recording limit.

Alarm on Interruption and Automatic Reconnect
Sounds an alarm when the camera disconnects from the phone while shooting is in progress and automatically attempts to reconnect the app to the camera in order to continue shooting.

Continue in Background
Triggering continues even when the app is minimised in the background.
