Accurate & simple, like a measuring tool should be. I tested & uninstalled 4-5 apps before finding this one. Most others are inaccurate toys or learning apps. This one's a keep. Addendum: one small shortcoming is that the caliper image doesn't extend to the edge of the phone display, which would make measurements much easier.

Could use a calibrate mode to adjust the jaw and a fine adjustment to get precision jaw movement . But! This is the best caliper app I have found.
