About this app

Built for General Electric Company’s Security and Emergency Management teams, the GE Grid app enhances collaboration by allowing GE employees, contractors, suppliers and mission partners to receive critical alerts, to find each other by location, proximity or specialty; and with permission to then connect and collaborate one-to-one or in groups, share images, location and real-time intelligence in instant messaging conversations or a 1-click conference calls.

MESSAGE

View information on all participants in a group chat even if you're not connected. Start an instant teleconference with your chat group with just one tap.

ALERTS
Receive critical alerts instantly from the GE Security and other emergency management personnel. Acknowledge received alerts with "Accept" or "Reject" status, or choose "Reply" to alert sender with additional input. Push notifications will let you know when a new alert is received. Read receipts let your coordinator know whether you've seen the alert. A backup email will let you know about an alert when you're away from your phone.
