So...This is the 5th volume booster app I've tried. The first four did not boost volume at all. I think these apps work differently on different phones, OS's and they also work (or don't work) differently on different apps on those phones. That said this was my experience. I work in a very large and loud loading doc fulfillment center. I'm not allowed to wear earbuds but I wear a Bluetooth head band with speakers in them and they are not loud enough for my work environment. I like to listen to podcasts and music as well but mostly podcasts. So, the app did NOT increase volume on my current music player which is Shuttle. The app did NOT increase the volume on the Google Play Music app. However, the app DID increase the volume significantly for Stitcher. I have no idea why this is. I'm not a techie, but it did indeed work. At max boost it was slightly distorted and I did hear some of those crackly noises when sliding the boost bar but that's not a big deal to me. I haven't tried it at work yet. Hopefully the app will continue to work. I really need the distraction at work and don't want to break the rules regarding earbuds so I'm glad this worked on Stitcher which I can get by with. Maybe I can try a different music player and see if it is compatible with the app. Any comments Devs?

This app is always on. Because of it, I can now hear my phone!! For the folks with hearing problems, this is an answer to prayer. 8/30/19 I'm still so happy with this app. Please try it if you have any hearing problems. I continue to leave it on all the time. To the maker of this app, I can't thank and praise you enough!!

Works well, but when changing booster level up or down, you hear some noise like from bad radio signal. When you leave booster level in same position there is no noise. Also, way too many ads. And I dont know if the problem is from app or my earbuds, but for some songs boosting volume decreases audio quality.

works! but it doesn't work if you close the app. It would be nice if it works with the app closed

Won't shut off unless I uninstall unless I'm blind to a setting. Otherwise it works well with podcasts that are too quiet in my car bluetooth.
