This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Lighty Flashlight - DavidApps on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Lighty - DavidApps it's an application developed by DavidApps that allows you to use the Led on your device as a flashlight, you can use it from the app or from the widget (in background) while you're using other apps, Lighty has no ads and no internet connection, you can use Lighty without annoying ads, because it's ads free and also Lighty it's for free.

Lighty - DavidApps is for Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, if you have one of those devices and this app does not work for you, please contact us.

It allows you to use the Led on your device as a flashlight torch
You can use the app as flashlight

Known problems:
The widget does not appears on list (found on Nexus 4, 4.3), the solution it's easy, restart your device and it will appear.
The widget does not work sometimes, the solution, delete it and create it again or restart your device - By now there is no other solution for that.

Permissions and uses:
Camera / Microphone
- Take pictures and videos: Needed to access the camera features, this permission is needed to access to the camera features, in this case we only use the flashlight, as Android does not have a separate permission, we have to request the access to the camera to use the led, we also established in uses of the manifest that camera function is not used at all.
Other
- Control flashlight: Needed to turn on/off the led, and we use this permission to turn on/off the flash/led with the app and with widget also.
