At first it wasn't connecting correctly. But, after updating it works great. If you are having any issues, contact them. The folks over there have been super responsive about fixing issues. They have been releasing updates on a regular basis to get any issues resolved. Thank you Chargie for working with us to get a fix in place. I will be getting a couple more for myself. I will also be telling friends and family about the product.

The hardware I bought was housed in a 3d printed case, which quickly cracked, leaving the guts exposed. The software frequently failed to shut off the charger, even when it was clearly running. The next morning, the battery would be at 100%. When it does work, it turns the charger on /off frequently during the night, causing micro cycles of a few % charge instead of one big charge. Overall, not ready for prime time, plus your shipping is from the UK to USA by DHL which is way overpriced.

Great little device, so for the most part works excellent, little learning curve overtime to learn how your device works with it. Love it, the best alternative aside from rooting a device to have similar results. If you have any issues contact them, they are very responsive and help getting any issues with the app or device get fixed. Bad reviews without details and justified statements don't help anyone, contacting them helps you and everyone get a better experience.

UPDATE2: recent software update (2.0.3 runnershigh) seems to have fixed most of the connection and unreliable charging issues. So, it was a software issue. UPDATE3: Worked well for a few weeks but has now developed a loose connection on the female USB socket. UPDATE4: Desoldered and replaced faulty USB socket. Works OK for now. Batch issue?

Great app and hardware combination at a very fair price. By normally charging my phone only to 90% I expect my battery to remain in top condition for at least an extra year or two. With new phones being so expensive and already so feature packed I expect to be able to keep my current phone much longer because the battery will continue lasting all day for longer. It's a no-brainer to buy one or two of these.

Worked for a month, but now stopped: "Connected to ChargieA (actually the name is incorrect - this Chargie was renamed), Testing physical connection", then "Unplugged" and "Disconnected / Search aborted due to phone unplug". Killing the app, re-plugging the Chargie and restarting the phone did not help. Same for replacing the Chargie with another unit: "trying ChargieA" , then "Disconnected". Tested with two identical Huawei P30 Pro.
