Thanks. This and firewalls ect. are the only real security that works. Antivirus apps really are of limited use especially on Android systems due to running in sandboxes. And without Root & a knowledge of the OS & Linux this isn't a self fix. So to be captain obvious this needs to be installed before you download your favorite browser or open the email app on your new device.

Like ALL BIT Defender Apps, this is a "must-have " and a "no-brainer "! I also use the Free Antivirus & Smart Battery Saver, Clueful Advisor, etc.. I have been using Bit Defender products on my phones & PC's for many years and have had lots of success detecting Viruses on my PC's as well as my phones. I can definitely recommend ALL Bit Defender products, simply because they are "Top-Notch " and they Work! FLAWLESSLY!! Take my word for it and install ALL of the Bit Defender products on your phones & PC's.

It works very well. It's very easy to set up but you do have to make sure that the "use by default" action is ticked. However it completely removes the "option" to run USSD codes. Some people might prefer to have an option. I think complete removal of the option is a good thing because it is foolproof. Until the reset exploit is fixed through a firmware update I think completely removing the risk is best. The USSD Wipe stopper "dialler" does not appear in the list of diallers for regular phone numbers. The list of regular diallers - such as phone and Skype - is thus not cluttered.

You will Not Be Aware that this is Running. Yet When It's Needed, FOR YOU PERSONAL PRIVATE PROTECTION, I Suggest Running ALL Bitdefender Apps, For Your Android device, and P.C.'s & Mac's.. & Your other S'ECIVED {•○~●□¿?/¡\¿?□●~○•}

Does not work for my phone. Had to use an app association utility to to set the dialer. Not sure if its really working.

Doesn't seem to work on my HTC Desire phone even though it says my phone is vulnerable. Following instructions and it does not give me any options to use the app to replace default dialer app.
