About this app

This app lets you enroll student faces and then uses these faces to mark attendance using facial recognition. This is the admin app which can be used for enrollment and attendance. For reporting, please create an account at https://www.bioattend.com and sync data from the app to the portal. If you would like to use the app without any portal support or login, you can still use the app and view attendance reports on the device. But if you would like to store data in the in cloud then you must create an account. After account creation, you must login in the app using the same account that you used to register at www.bioattend.com. This edition of the app is primarily targeted towards schools and colleges. If you are a school or college administrator, you can create an admin account at www.bioattend.com and use that account to manage attendance in this app. To let students mark their own attendance, you must first enroll the student using this app, then synchronize data from this app to our cloud servers and then download the student edition of this app. The student must also create a student account at www.bioattend.com. Once a student account is created, student must login from her phone and download her data to the local device. Then student can mark attendance. We support several modes of operation for this attendance system. You can only use the admin app in the classroom or you could let students also take their own attendance. If you would like the student app to use proximity detection, we support that on Estimote beacons. In that case students can only mark attendance when a beacon signal is present. If a student does not have access to internet, the admin app be default allows the student app to connect if both devices are on same network. If there is not network connecting both devices, a hotspot can be turned on on the admin device and student can then connect to the admin device and mark their own attendance. This reduces student attendance time.
