Edit: used to work, now broken. Installed new phone. Will not install shortcut on homescreen. Crashes each and every time I try to set it up. (Prev: Does what I want it to - locks the phone, and disables the fingerprint ID, requiring a password for access. If I could just launch it with Google voice then it would be perfect.)

Don't fall for ratings of app,this app is often on sale for free .there are bunch of free apps that can do this for you,so don't download unless you have money to throw away!

Do you know LG phones? On them, when you double tap the notification bar, the screen goes off, it doesn't lock if the lock is set to a timer, that's useful too. I was looking out to create a transparent rectangular box that triggered the screen off on my gf's phone, she has a Huawei that only turns the screen on but not off. Could you add something like that? A sizable rectangular area, with color options and transparency setting. If it could just only trigger the screen off without lock it would be amazing! If you really wanna save power buttons you could add a screen on function based on triple tap on the proximity sensor... And even use that as a lock option too and avoid the screen drawing over option! I tried the floating icon but it only fixes to the sides. It should be able to snap to the top and bottom too. Also a preview while setting it is a must. I need to see how it looks on the side. Having to exit the app, three taps to exit, just to see that it is half way out of the screen, to tiny and that it is twinkling, then having to enter the app again? Why so many steps to enter the settings? I open, it shows the intro, then some menu, then the actual options and without a preview? Settings and icon could be on the same screen and the feedback just be the last button in the menu. That would simplify things. Why is it twinkling? The icon doesn't stop xD
