This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Development Control / Widget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Very useful for preventing accidentally leaving usb debugging enabled. It's a bit ironic, developers often have the least secure phones because we keep forgetting to switch off usb debugging! This widget offers a good solution, put it on your homescreen and it shows if you forgot. (Should not need Location permission though)

It seems to have affected my screen timeout, even when not charging. Going to uninstall and hopefully it will be fixed. Too bad, I need this widget.

You can choose using a WIDGET,if you want phone not to sleep while charging and USB debugging. Most phones have these features. But this is theWIDGET
