About this app

This app is for YMCA staff and volunteers in Australia. The app will - align our understanding of the concept of youth empowerment - create connections between staff and volunteers of different YMCA's - share programs and ideas between YMCA's In the app you'll find a lot of information about our strategic direction of Empowering Young People: What is it? How we do it? How can a YMCA be empowered? What are the types of programs we're involved in. Aside from learning about what you do, you'll also be able to connect with the actual person doing the work. This way we'll be able to better connect across boundaries. The app also has some nifty social media like tools. There's a 'social wall' (kind of like Facebook), links to the actual Facebook and Youtube, and the ability to easily share the app with others. We hope you like it and use it to empower more young people.
