This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BeWhere Bluetooth Beacon Tracker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

BeWhere is an business/industrial asset tracking solution to better manage tools, equipment, inventory and other non-powered resources in real-time.

Attach the BeWhere’s rugged BLE beacons to your equipment, tool, keys, container etc. and use the BeWhere Tracker app to relay your beacons sensors data and location to the BeWhere Portal (also available in the Play Store).

The BeWhere Tracker app allow users to:

- Associate specific beacons to an user’s smartphone
- Monitor real-time beacon sensor data (temperature, light exposure, impact counts*) when beacon in range of the mobile device (up to 250 meters)
- Locate individual beacon through signal strength indicator (RSSI)
- Display last know location
- Read all BeWhere beacons in range
- Activate the beacon’s LED and buzzer to help locate the beacon*

* Not available on all beacons models
