I have only just started using the app with a room thermostat, which controls my central heating. Its very simple but effective. In fact it's fantastic. The programable stat' with its ample on/off settings is clearly laid out, with weekdays and Saturday and Sunday able to be timed separately. There is no messing about trying to imput times and copy at the thermostat. Once connected to the wifi it can be easily done from your phone app.

Very basic device control. No option to set time automatically or declare NTP server, no option to set screen background light level on device, or timeout for it. No way to type the desired temperature via keyboard.

Unfortunately, the device does not respond according to the help instructions. After holding the bottom button for 8sec, the WiFi icon does not flash quickly, only the ERROR message, and then the FLOOR information turns on. And even the manual in pdf is not available for download online. I'm sorry to write but everything sucks. Please send me an email instructions in pdf. Can you do it?

Extremely simply app that does the job that promises. Just 2 found issues so far. When there is an interruption on the power supply once the app connects to the Wi-Fi it doesn't reset the date and time automatically and it gets set to 23°C. Besides the sensor is not sensible enough for half degrees even if the UI displays them. In general excellent product and great value for the money. It should also say that the set up is only possible on 2.4Gz networks

Drains battery like crazy; I thought my batteries in my 2 phones needed replacement. Had to turn "Force Stop" in Android app setting to avoid battery drain. It constantly runs in the background and accesses the internet. There are so many versions of this app/thermostat and they are not compatible. I bought 3 visually identical thermostats from 3 separate shops and they are all different versions and I have to installed 3 different versions of this app.

Works well but first time installed would only work over home Wi-Fi network. After re-installing the "My Baca smart" software on my android phone the BTH-3000L-GCLW thermostat unit now works remotely (phone on different Wi-Fi or mobile network). Additionally the room temperature is also now updating back to the phone remotely (previously frozen) I can also confirm that the "Check device network" DOES NOT WORK remotely and falsely reports "No device detected". Test only works over same Wi-Fi.
