This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Earthquake Reporter on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

The seismic activity in the world is frecuent and many of these seismic events are felt and/or cause damage.

Through this app, You will have the option to see the geographical distribution of these seismic events around the world: the epicentral information, focus (depth), magnitude and the intensity in the Mercalli Scale.

Many of these seismic events occurs along the Pacific Ring of Fire, however, many earthquakes strike places where people are not prepared or the energy released is so high that causes serious damages.

The seismic information or catalog that this app uses is the public release of the US Geological Survey (USGS) through its oficial website. Therefore, this app uses processed and reviewed information by seismologists.

This app has a settings option to filter the information by magnitude, depth, country or geographical areas and the number of days.

In addition to the filter, you can enable and configure a notification service. For this purpose of havinf notifications, the user can set the minimum magnitude, maximum depth and time frequency, n minutes, to check for updates.
