The device itself is good and appears accurate, but this app is terrible. The interface to enable cloud logging is confusing, overly complicated and impossible to navigate without checking an online tutorial. Furthermore, the app regularly stops logging and has to be rebooted. As other reviews have commented, for such an expensive piece of hardware the expectation is for a usable app. Very disappointing.

There's already very little instructions that come with the Hydrometer as it is so some set-up instructions (text or videos) would make using the hydrometer, and the app, a whole lot less painful. I downloaded the newer version and it's the same: very user UNfriendly

Bought this device for $135. Used during the fermentation of a German Lager. The temperature reading seemed to be accurate within the stated + or - 1 degree F with some temp fluctuations midway through the fermentation. The Gravity reading is where I encountered the most problems. I followed the online instructions for calibrating the gravity to 1.000 to start. I checked my OG with my refractometer at 1.058, I put the Tilt in 5-gallons of of wort, Tilt read 1.051. I let the wort ferment for 5-days till the Tilt read 1.018 then tested against my hydrometer at 1.026. Confirmed Tilt is off by .006-7/100's and when calculating gravity that's a huge variance. Also I didn't notice this in the Faq's page when researching the Tilt but the Tilt only will record data in real time, that is at the very moment you are looking at the screen and add that info to google sheets. Tilt has NO memory and will NOT be able to recall past data even from the current ferment. To me this was a huge disadvantage to a busy brewer. If you forget or don't have the time to record Tilt data to sheets that information is lost forever. Potentially a great product but needs allot of tweaking to bring $135 per unit.

Reviewing it down to 1 star from 2. The App sucks. The device is nice and seems to work well. The App is not fit for purpose, non-intuitive, impossible to figure out, clunky and not maintained.

Terrible app - doesn't work on my phone despite it being Bluetooth 5 - given the cost of the device it's supporting it is a poor state of affairs and needs sorting

Wish I never bought the tilt. Garbage. Waste of money. Use a hydrometer.
