Can't believe this actually worked, will finally not have to spend a fortune on XYZ filament. I am using a davinci Jr. 1.0 with system version 2.4.7 the app does not seem to work with XYZ NFC tags, but I bought 10 paper tags from eBay and it took me 2 seconds to set it up and the printer accepts them.

Works great. Saves money. I had a roll of filament that was only about 90% used when my printer refused to print because it was "out of filament". After using this app to reset the NFC chip that came with the filament, I was able to get one more print out of it.

I used this app for the first time in about one year, and am now encountering a "This tag is not supported error," even with the same kind of tags that previously worked with the app. Previously, the app worked perfectly. I've seen at least one other report of the same problem.

Ok, so I straight up thought this was a scam. But this does work! Yes, you do need to buy your own cheep NFC tags to write to. This is because your printer remembers the tag IDs and values that you give it, so if a known tag suddenly has more PLA on it, it knows you are hacking. But for a few bucks to buys some tags in bulk, you can use litteraly any PLA, and not have to buy that over priced XYZ stuff. Best $1.00 investment I have ever made. Sad to see such a low rating! Get NFC 213 tags!

It's not working, i just bought 10 new ntag213 tags and the app says "this tag is not supported". Edit. I just scanned with TagInfo and says NTAG213, so the problem are not the tags. Does the firmware of the printer matters?

Works well for my Da Vinci Mini. Had to create a firewall rule to block internet access for the current version of XYZPrint, otherwise I'd get a 'filament suspended' error message.
