I don't know why there's a lot of negative comment but this apps work perfectly with my phone. The volume work but it would not show the volume bar when you turn on the black screen. It deserves more what it already got. It not only work with youtube apps. It works perfectly outside of youtube. You just need to click the "Black Me Button" and it would black your screen. To un-black your screen just single tap your screen ( According to your setting )

The only reason I give this app two stars instead of one is due the fact that it technically does do what it advertises, and was very simple to active. The cause of the low rating, however, is due to how difficult it was for me to turn it off. It also messed with my volume pop up, where it would be extremely delayed when I adjusted the volume, or just not show up at all until I uninstalled the app. Maybe with some patches this app would be good, but as it is now, I would not recommend using it.

Its perfect for what I need. I can listen to podcasts all day and not have to deal with but dials or battery draining. It tweaks every now and then but it's the best one of these type of apps I've tried

Not sure what's going on but can only get it to turn all the way black if I have the YouTube video on full screen, but even then after a couple minutes the screen just turns back on like no big deal.

Big help!! It does as described. Play YouTube music playlist with black background (to save battery in my case). Restart after installation will help. Thank you ^_________^

This app works well, much better than Black Screen. I like the floating button. Makes it easy to switch the screen back on when you need too. It could use a timer though. So the screen automatically goes black after a while.
