A barebone sensor app that brings the sensor tests and info right away.

small in size but big impact. you can know which sensor is working on your device properly.

very good, will give 5 stars when the under construction parts are finished

No fingerprint sensor compatibility plus the UI is plain ugly.

About this app

The Sensor Test for Android app helps you to read out all the sensors on your smartphone easily and understandably.

With every update from your smartphone producer or the Android Operating System, new software-based sensors can be added.

The goal of this app is to read out as many sensors as possible and available, regardless of manufacturer and mobile brand. For the interested user, the most important information is explained in short texts and summarized.

Help me by sending me a short info about sensors that have no output and information available. (Described in the app)

All this is, of course, on a voluntary basis. No annoying notifications, no senseless permissions, only a small advertising banner which you can also remove in the app (if you want to support me).

Please rate the app honestly! A one star rating without any text is not useful for the other users or me. If you have a problem with the app (for example crash or error), please refer to me by using the email function in the app. I will help as soon as possible and eliminate the error. (Most errors can be fixed with a reboot/ turning of the energy-saving-mode!)

Please be aware that not all smartphone comes with all the sensors that are listed below. Especially tablets do not have these sensors!

- ACCELEROMETER
- MAGNETIC FIELD
- ORIENTATION
- GYROSCOPE
- LIGHT
- PROXIMITY
- GRAVITY
- ROTATION VECTOR
- RELATIVE HUMIDITY
- AMBIENT TEMPERATURE
- SIGNIFICANT MOTION
- STEP COUNTER

System-related or safety-relevant sensors such as micros, battery temperature or fingerprint scanner require too many permissions and are not implemented here.
