I love it, except for the issue that only one device can be used to operate this light. I got it connected on my phone, then later my husband got it connected to his, but it wasn't connected to mine any more. So I reset it again and connected, which disconnected his phone! Very frustrating.

Setup was easy (3min maybe) and worked fine on first try. Tested using echo show and atomi color string lights. On/off, set color, set brightness all work fine. Maybe the bad reviews were for an earlier version? At least now the login at setup says phone/email - apparently can use either one. Like so far.

I have multiple "smart" apps and devices in my home, I think my last count was around 35... They aren't all the same in terms of quality and reliable function... This one loads quickly, has very detailed instructions and walks you through the setup of all the different devices. I've got a smart heater, string lights, orbs and a ceiling light, they all work flawlessly. The basic setup is really straight forward, but if you miss a step or have trouble, like the lights won't blink, there are very detailed trouble shooting menu's and technical help instructions that are a little harder to find in the app. For me, the app and the devices work better than the big name brands and huge platforms.

Unbearably difficult instructions. The pamphlet that came with the devices had different instructions than the ones on the app itself, and the app instructions are different from what's on their website. Some say to use mobile hotspot, and two say to use Wifi. My phone can't connect to mobile hotspots AND wifi at the same time... so I don't know how they are supposed to connect? Guess I'll be returning these.

JUNK!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS BRAND!!! Horrible product instructions. The product i bought.... a wifi range extender isn't even and option and the list nor is that a QR code to scan and enter it .... even though that's an option in the app.

Seems pretty easy so far. Directions are easy to follow. Wanted something simple for my daughter's nursery I can control and this seems good so far!
