This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ATLAS.ti Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Tends to not update project quotes when reopened. Once a new quote is made, exit the doc, and re-open the missing quotes appear. Being pdf compatible would be a huge bonus. Update: PDF support is really essential.

My first attempt to use was quite tricky as I am on android. Thus, no pdf documents could be attached to which is what I was looking forward to. However, I could upload my pics. Now I'm trying to attach my voice recording. Hope it works and I could upload it to my cloud storage.

In desparate need of an update yet so promising. PDF support would be awesome for example. There was some talk of this yet I fear the app has been rather neglected of late. Could be a crucial part of a researchers workflow if better supported...

New features

*HOTFIX*: If you exported a project from the previous version you need to rename the file: add .hprm to the end of the name. This way it will be imported correctly into the desktop applications.
*IMPORTANT*: Reworked the export procedure.You can no longer export from the projects overview. Instead you have to go into the project and export the project via the stripes menu.You can now pick a location where the project should be saved. Make sure to keep the ".hprm" at the end of the file name!
