This is an edited review. My original review was less than favourable as I was never able to get this app working. I now believe I've found this issue many people may be running into; the USB cable I was using didn't have a high enough bandwidth. I feel silly for critizing ASUS when it was such an obvious oversight on my part. The app works as described.

Does not connect to the motherboard every time it's plugged in, it's too random. With the latest update the app crashes imediately after opening. Edit: It's been 8 months since it stopped working, ASUS has not cared about fixing the app, don't waste your time on this.

Works fine for me. Lots of useful information. Very cool that my phone automatically opens TUF Detective as soon as I plug it into the correct USB port. I'm on Android 7.1.2.

Working as described. On a Z270 Mark 1 I plugged a USB cable into the TUF detective port on motherboard and plugged the other end into phone and it just worked. Samsung s7.
