This app has great potential, but a pretty severe fault. I can take text and convert it to ASCII in all formats. But converting ASCII to text is not functional. It keeps telling me "Incorrect Input". This happens when I tell it to convert from binary, hex or decimal. I make sure the right option is selected, but always get this error. Also selecting "settings" just exits the program.

It is extremely useful for changing digital odometer reading on modern vehicles. Just connect to the serial interface of the vehicle's odometer and change the ASCII code to be the equal of what you want the odometer to read in Decimal. You never have to trade in a vehicle with high miles again! You never have to sell a car with high miles again either!
