Just received new phone which came with Android 10 so I searched if I should keep using the Escalating Ringtone app I was using on my previous phone or if miraculously Android 10 now support this feature natively but still not, what a shame! But because the Pixel have it I was directed to this app so I installed it thinking it would be a better FREE alternative but because this one is locked from 1 to 30% in 5 seconds and vibrate (which I don't want) while Escalating Ringtone is locked from 0 to 100 in 10 seconds with configurable on/off vibration I will keep the latter as it's much better for me. If I was to pay though, Ring Master seems to offer a lot more options. FREE = 2 STARS, PAID = 5 STARS

Its good. However I am seeing a new problem. Whenever I charge my device with this app runing jn the background, once I unplug the charger it tends to lower the notification volume to the lowest level. Happens everytime

Great idea & feature, nice clean & simple interface. Problem is - No setting changes until you pay. I get it, app maker needs paid, BUT - should at least allow 1 or 2 min changes with this version. Stuck with a silent 5 second vibrate before sound even begins, then volume starts at 1% and ONLY goes to 30% of main ring vol setting. Not sure I like this enough to pay for pro, but not helpful as is. [Women's clothes lack pockets - 5 seconds before any sound, then max 30% means missed calls]

After contacting the developer I am changing my review to 5 star. He was very helpful with fixing my issue that was mostly ColorOS related since I use Realme phone. So once again it's a great app and I enjoy using it now that it is fixed.

You'll need to spend .99 to really use the app. It works great and is easy to configure. This allows you to set full volume but not be so jarringly loud the first couple rings if you're right by your phone.

In principle it is a good idea but only useful if you upgrade to paid version otherwise pointless installing it.

Ring Master - Increasing Ringtone Volume 1.10
2020-08-04 / 4.3 MB / Android 6.0+

About this app

Ring Master automatically increases your ringtone gradually so that you can avoid sudden shocks from loud ringtones. Set the amount of volume you want to increase and Ring Master will take care of the rest. You can even set it to "vibrate first, ring later", thereby bringing Pixel phone's unique feature to other devices.

The best part is you can apply these settings not just to incoming phone calls but even to calls in chat apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Google Duo, Viber and more. Select which all apps you want to activate and next time you can get an incoming call, the ringtone will increase gradually instead of sudden full-on blast.

Features
✓ Gradually increases your incoming call volume
✓ Option to vibrate first and ring later
✓ Set vibration duration
✓ Custom vibration patterns to choose from
✓ Select increasing volume range (1% to 100%)
✓ Set ringing duration for which volume should increase
✓ Supports phone calls as well as messenger apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Google Duo, Viber and more

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the first thing that needs to be done for Ring Master to work correctly?
If your phone already has an "increasing ringtone" feature, you need to disable it so that there is no conflict with Ring Master.

Will Ring Master change my entire system volume?
No. Only incoming call ringer volume will be changed. Media, notification and alarm volumes are completely untouched.

Will Ring Master mess up my volume/vibrate settings if the phone is in Silent/Vibrate or Do Not Disturb (DND) mode?
Absolutely not. When an incoming call comes, the first thing Ring Master checks is whether the phone is in Silent/Vibrate/DND mode. If it is, then Ring Master closes itself and lets the system handle the ring.

Why does Ring Master need Read Phone State permission?
This permission is used to detect when an incoming phone call arrives. That is when Ring Master starts adjusting ringtone volume based on your settings. Without this permission, there is no way to detect an incoming call.

Any issue?
