ScrubTheRobber is an anti-theft that allows you to be immediately notified if a robber stole your car, motorcycle or other, giving you the possibility to view in the web where the robber is going.

PREREQUISITES:
For proper operation it is necessary that there is an application for sending SMS permanently configured by default.
Check trying to send an SMS: the phone should not require you to choose an application, otherwise select the desired application, and set the option "Always use".
For sending SMS you may want to set it to always defined as the application of phone factory.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Enter the phone number to call in case of emergency;
If you wish to receive a text message (sms) with the position at regular intervals you can set:
30 seconds
1 minutes
2 minutes
3 minutes
5 minutes
15 minutes
30 minutes
1 hour
By pressing the "TEST" is sent a text message and a phone call to the desired number; check on the smartphone the correct reception of the phone call and text message containing a link; opening the link must display the web page respondent.
Pressing the "START" ScrubTheRobber waits for 30 seconds in which you hide your smartphone under a seat or somewhere else in the car or in motorcycle; at the end of the count waits to detect an acceleration or a sudden movement that triggers instantly sending a text message with the link to the map in order to chase the robber (even if you have not set sending sms) and a call duration of two minutes (if you're sleeping so you wake up).
At this juncture of time, you can call the police.
If you have set a time interval you will receive others sms with the updated location and the link to open the map.
In any case at intervals of 30 seconds ScrubTheRobber constantly sends to a server of its location, and you can see the situation ever from the first sms received on the phone of your friend.
On the registration page, you are asked to enter your name, a username and a password that are used to access the web server from a common PC.
I advise you to put a real name, if anything, you should serve a historical report of the theft to be provided to appropriate facilities ( police, insurance, lawyers, etc ...)
IMPORTANT:
1) Do not forget to stop the ring tone: if someone calls the thief may notice the presence of the mobile phone ;
2) Check that the GPS is turned on and that there is the word " GPS OK" green top;
3 ) Set a lock screen with password;
4) Always set the emergency number: it serves to notify you promptly in order to receive the link to the map display on the smartphone of your preferred friend
PRIVACY:
ScrubTheRobber does not detect the position of the user at any time but only under a specific request, and only when motion is detected .
The history list of the positions will be delivered only on request of the person concerned or the competent authorities.
The information on the first and last name of the service do not appear on the web server and nowhere else existing device , unless was specifically required an eventual historical report ; the name and surname are not otherwise subject to effective control and may be imaginary.
In any case informations will not be used for advertising or other commercial purpose.
