This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mystery Shopwatch on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I love this app. The interface is simpe but the tasks it does are complex. It even gives me the minutes and seconds between markers.

While I understand the usefulness of vibrating the phone each 'click', and the vast models with different abilities out in the market, I would find this so much more useful if I could tone down or mute the vibrate. At least on a Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx, it is noisy enough for people around me to make note of.

Nice App but lacks two important features. For Mystery Shopping it would be nice to be able to open a comment box for each timing so the shopper could add notes to each timing (eg beverages ordered, beverages delivered etc)... second and equally important is the ability to export/email timings and comments so the shopper can copy and paste timings into their report.

I love this app. I never trusted myself with a stop watch. I wish: There was a check before deleting as I have accidentally deleted timings. A "do you want to delete this " message would be helpful. Also shown on the notification bar would be great and removing the big mystery shop name on the top would be nice.

Is a great design, in that I can have my hand in my pocket and control my phone with just a touch to my volume buttons. The only things that would make it better would be a way to label the timings ahead of time and a notification bar/windowshade shortcut.

This is just what I was needing. I was doing an online search for a good watch/ stopwatch for mystery shoppers, just about to make a purchase and then I stumbled across this app. It's inexpensive and works as described. Does the trick for me!

About this app

Mystery Shopwatch (tm) is a stopwatch geared towards mystery shoppers. As a mystery shopper, you're required to report the start and end times as well as the duration of a shop. You might also be required to report on the elapsed time between various interactions with the shop staff. This stopwatch (aka "shopwatch") allows you to do all of this with ease and accuracy.

This stopwatch will record not only a duration but the start and end times. You can also mark various timing points and very easily display the elapsed time between any two markers. A typical usage scenario might be to start the clock when you enter the shop, add timing markers when you enter a line, complete an order and receive your order, and then stop the clock when you leave.
A display option allows you to choose muted colors for the buttons.

An option allows you to use the volume up or down buttons to add a marker when it is in timing mode. To prevent errors, both up and down buttons perform the same function and are used only to add a marker.

Timing data can be saved with both a label and a note to help you remember details of your mystery shopping experience.

A free LITE version is available that does not provide the data saving feature.
