The ability to configure auto pilot settings by voice rather than using the mouse or controller is really great. It is like having a co-pilot to help you set up the flight director and radio settings. Arm the speedbrake and disable the flight director on short final approach with a few simple voice commands while keeping your hand on the yoke or joystick. Very helpful little app.

Nice app, I prefer XP Remote. No updates for two years.

Out of the box it is a very good app. Initially I was not able to get it to work but it was no fault of the app. After I updated Google Search it suddenly began to work. It is especially good when a quick response is required while flying online with ATC. Finally I can't say enough about Customer Service, if you need help, you got it. So, if your considering purchasing this app, go ahead, pull the trigger, it works nicely on my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T.

Just downloaded the app and it took me all of 2 or 3 minutes to set up. I Love it! Beats the heck out of my Saitek radio panel. Great job to the author. Next I guess I will try to learn the programming language for the commands. I like to run my plane loud but my Samsung doesn't like that LOL. Maybe I need a little stand to hold the phone closer to my mouth to interpret the commands better. In my case the second IP address shown was the one for my computer but one can always do an ipconfig command from windows. Windows Key-R then CMD then Enter then type ipconfig. Look for the IPV4 address

About this app

Copilot X is an application that allows you to issue voice commands through your Android device to control X-Plane v9/10/11, the popular flight simulator developed by Laminar Research. The application works by using the Google Voice Recognition service to process your spoken commands and send the appropriate data to X-Plane. Now, complicated procedures such as dialing in a radio frequency or setting the autopilot hold altitude are as simple as saying what you want!

Note that you must have Google's Voice Search application or another speech recognition service installed on your Android device in order to use Copilot X. Please visit the developer's website to download the manual for Copilot X, which contains configuration instructions and a complete list of commands.
