This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AppLock on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Often fails to lock the apps before the lock screen engages. For no apparent reason will flash multiple times before allowing me to unlock an app. This is the second phone this has happened on, so I know the app is faulty.

Huawei and Xiaomi devices have evil task killer services that interfere with the
AppLock service. For our app to work, you need to add App Locker to allowed apps in
those devices' security settings.
Huawei: Phone Manager App > Protected Apps > Add App Locker to the list.
Xiaomi: Services > Security > Permissions > Autostart, find App Locker and enable
autostart.
