Die GdF-App dient der Verbreitung aller Neuigkeiten und Termine der Gewerkschaft der Flugsicherung für Mitglieder, Interessierte und die Presse. Sie bietet Informationen zu den Vorständen, zur Organisation und Historie der GdF. Es ist möglich die letzten Ausgaben des "flugleiter" und von "The Controller" zu lesen. Darüberhinaus gibt es einfache Möglichkeiten zur Kontaktaufnahme. Mit der GdF-App ist man also immer auf dem Laufenden bezüglich der aktuellen Themen rund um die Gewerkschaft der Flugsicherung.

Für registrierte Nutzer sind weiterhin Tarifverträge, Satzung und zugehörige Dokumente, Streik- und Rechtsinfos sowie eine Fotogalerie vorhanden. Als zusätzliche Funktionalität dient die App als Konferenztool. Im Vorlauf und auch während der Gdf-Konferenzen können die Tagesordnung und Arbeitspapiere eingesehen werden, die Veranstaltungsorte und der Ablauf sind einsehbar, es gibt aktuelle Konferenznews und im Nachgang werden auch die Beschlüsse und Protokolle veröffentlicht.
